Agro
The Agro Business Field offers means of production to farmers, for example, seeds, beneficial organisms, plant nutrition, crop protection and feedstuffs as well as agricultural technology. It markets grain, oilseeds and livestock and also offers a variety of consultancy services to support farmers in their activities.

Food industry
High-quality foods are produced and brought to the consumer via various channels in this business field. They include fruit, vegetables, grain, potatoes, eggs, beverages and meat. The most important customers include restaurant chains, the hotel and catering industry, hospitals, care homes, butchers and the leading Swiss retailers, including Volg and LANDI.

Retail trade
The Volg Group manages three successful shop formats with the focus on villages and residential areas. It serves 900 points of sale: Volg, TopShop and Prima. The retail business wholesaler Cadar supplies another 600 customers, of which 100 are “ma fée” shops. LANDI represents a total of 150 agricultural cooperatives with 270 LANDI shops.

Energy
The Energy Business Field includes the energy provider AGROLA with more than 400 filling stations in rural areas, and the heating oil and wood pellets business, in which AGROLA has established itself as a leading supplier. AGROLA is also active in the field of new energies and photovoltaics.
Our members
